-So I'm sitting here as the time of our last day abroad is ticking away. Everyone is still sleeping at this time and Jordan and I just finished getting our last breakfast meal here in Sevilla! Last night a bunch of us went to the International Beer Bar place that's located in the city center of Spain. It was quite unbelievable to realize that we're already going to be on our way home to America tomorrow. It's such a bitter-sweet feeling that I know everyone of us studying abroad is feeling right now. Yesterday I had my mini break down that it is actually hitting me that we're leaving in the next 24 hours but my real challenge is if I could make it through today without creating puddles of tears. Last night as we all got together to go out you could just feel and understand how important each one of us has become to each other; ( as we all stood there taking pictures with every single person.) When we reference our "DTW family" only all 75 of us will really be able to tell what that family consisted of; the laughter; the inside jokes; the memories; and the late late nights. I could have never asked for a better group of people to travel with. And as we all say our goodbyes today it's hard not to forget every memory we've had together as pictures will only be able to capture the moment but WE will only be able to remember what happened during that moment. We could go home and explain to people ""this is what I did while studying abroad" but it'll never be the same thoughts I have when I pass the friends from DTW next semester on campus. I know I won't just see them but all the memories that we had together. This was truly an experience I know none of us will ever forget. To all my friends that helped me Discover the World- thank you for everything!
As my travels from studying abroad have come to a close I'm filled with bitter-sweet emotion. Tonight a couple of the girls are going to go to a Flamenco show to end our nights abroad. I can't believe our last night is already here! This has been one hell of a journey. As we are saying our last goodbyes tonight and I know tears will shed they will probably also shed tomorrow when we say our first hellos tomorrow when we land in JFK! I'm very excited to see the family and friends from home! Of course I'll be missing my DTW family but I know next semester will be something to truly look forward too.
So as for now this is my last blog! Goodbye Europe but Hello America!!! Safe flight home everyone!
