So Tonight I sit here at my laptop. pondering about all the thoughts and adventures I've had this past module in Rome. I also sit here staring at my belly telling myself I will consume Italian food again...just not any more tonight. After a long day of tests and an afternoon of packing while drinking wine. Jordan, Brenna, Louise, and I went to one of our favorite restaurants da Tony's! Of course we all couldn't just try to consume one meal. We started with red wine and calamari then each indulged in our own pasta dish. I got fettucine pomodoro and then the four of us shared two chicken parmaseans. Literally delicious food but now I feel like I need to run a marathon to burn the amount I've consumed in the past two hours. I literally am having trouble sitting up straight right now and breathing for that matter. Good thing Spain will be full of lean fish. On our walk home Bren, Jordan and I passed some of the traditional spots we go in Rome. We walked past Campo di Fiori and the famous "drunken ship". As we were walking past it we saw almost everyone in our discover the world group walking to the ship. It was exciting and sad at the same time to see everyone together this last night in Rome. Bren, Jordan, and I continued to walk home and reminisce about our times in Rome and how much we have done here all on our own.
From my own feelings. I'm going to miss Roma a lot. I don't think I've ever had an experience like the one I've had here. I literally feel like a part of community here and I could definitely see myself living here sometime in my life. As Roma ends tonight because we have our bus leaving for the airport tomorrow at 11AM I will never forget the times I've had here. I can't wait for my next adventure in Seville, Spain and I definitely don't want to wish my time away in the next module.
