So today we went to Mount Vesuvio, Pompeii Ruins, and Naples for delicious pizza.
We took a tram to Mount Vesuvio and the tram ride up was hilarious. We were sitting on these wooden benches that had us bumping into one another and literally feeling like we were going to topple over. A little bit scary at the same time hilarious. When we got to the top due to the winds we couldn't explore the crater but our bus driver showed us a couple of neat spots to take pictures. Next we went to the Ruins of Pompeii. We didn't have an audio guide or anything but we explored on our own. Its crazy to think a whole city was destroyed but many pieces still remain today. Check out the pictures below. And then after exploring Pompeii we headed back to Naples.

It was a two hour wait but so worth it by the time we got inside.
Yum yum yum. It was a quick trip and nice and simple but very enjoyable=)
